Wk 6 – Artist Interview – Romina del Castillo






   Romina was one of the artists featured at the Gatov gallery east.  Her works consists of charcoal as a medium. Her subjects depict normal people and is usually observation based.
   Romina is a senior and was a theatre major before becoming an art major. The change occurred when she traveled abroad to Europe. While in England she visited art museums and that is what influenced her to become an art major. Her family respects and supports her interests.
    Her work is black and white, and is heavily influenced by old noir films of the 30s and 40s.
